-My Story
Roshika “Sunshine” West is the owner, founder and creative director of 20-West Entertainment and Media Co. West is a native of New Orleans, an art mecca and the birthplace of jazz. She connected with the artistic and cultural influences of her hometown as a teen and became a young artist. West’s interests led her to obtain a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism, Film and Video. While in college, West also worked in film as an actor and production assistant.

West loves to create media projects, yet her ultimate goal is to help others succeed through her sharing her creativity in media production and education. With this blog and training site, West hopes to tell stories that educate and inform others on how to gain media internships and jobs, while avoiding common pitfalls of the industry.
